FAQs

What kind of THC is in the Buzzer Shot?

The Buzzer Shot contains delta-9 THC (the "real" THC) derived from hemp. It's the same naturally occurring THC that has been consumed by cannabis users for centuries. The "delta-9" designation refers to its chemical structure, and distinguishes it from newer synthetic compounds such as delta-8 and delta-10 THC.

What is the difference between hemp and cannabis?

"Hemp" and "cannabis" both refer to the Cannabis Sativa plant. The only difference is in their THC content. If the plant contains less than 0.3% delta-9 THC, it is legally considered hemp. If it contains more than 0.3% delta-9 THC, it is considered "cannabis" or "marijuana." This is an important distinction, because hemp is federally legal to produce and possess, whereas cannabis is not.

Why are hemp-derived THC products legal?

Products made from hemp, such as edibles and beverages, are federally legal as long as they contain less than 0.3% delta-9 THC. The Buzzer Shot complies with this requirement while providing an effective, accurate dose of the same THC that cannabis users have enjoyed for centuries.

What is CBG, and why is it in the Buzzer Shot?

CBG (Cannabigerol) is a naturally occurring compound in cannabis and hemp plants. Prevalent in younger plants, CBG is converted over time into other cannabinoids such as THC, CBD, and CBN. CBG is non-psychoactive, meaning it doesn't produce a "high" by itself. However, it has recently become valued for its reputed therapeutic effects.

While research on CBG is in its early stages, users have reported a number of beneficial effects, both mental and physical. CBG is believed to have mood-enhancing properties, while also promoting focus and clarity of thinking. Additionally, it is believed to have both analgesic (pain-relieving) and anti-inflammatory effects, making it an excellent pre-workout or post-workout supplement.

The benefits of CBG, combined with the euphoric effects of THC, make the Buzzer Shot the perfect fun daytime boost for taking on any task or adventure!

How long does it take to feel the effects from a Buzzer Shot?

The Buzzer Shot is made with fast-acting water-soluble THC, which is quickly absorbed and processed by the body. This allows its effects to be felt in as little as 15-20 minutes.

Is the Buzzer Shot indica, sativa, or hybrid?

The Buzzer Shot technically does not fit on the indica/sativa spectrum, because it does not contain the terpenes that are characteristic of indica or sativa cannabis strains. Terpenes are natural compounds that give cannabis and other plants their fragrance and/or flavor, and they are widely believed to be responsible for the energizing or calming effects associated with sativa and indica strains respectively.

While some THC beverages include terpenes in an attempt to mimic a sativa or indica cannabis strain, there is no evidence that drinking terpenes has the same effect as combusting or vaporizing them. And frankly, terpenes don't taste very good in beverages. Therefore, we've chosen to leave them out.

With that said, the Buzzer Shot is intended to be an uplifting THC product that enhances daytime activities and adventures.
